Alright, kiddoes. My 19th birthday is coming in about two short weeks, and even though my blog isn’t strictly Tolkien anymore, I’m not about to abandon the ways of my people. So. Honouring the hobbit tradition of giving gifts for your guests on your birthday, I’d like to give something for my followers.

Because I’m broke af, this something is to write poems. Poems because poems are cool as heck and really fun to write. Also I haven’t written them nearly enough in the past months.

what to do in order to get a poem (aka rules) 

• follow me (bc these gifts are for my ‘guests’ aka my followers)
• reblog this post with one (1) to three (3) words in tags (these words are what you want the poem to be about / give me some inspiration. if you don’t write any inspiration words in the tags, you will end up with a random poem that escapes my keyboard)
• and that’s it! how easy and simple!

• you have until my birthday (June 10th) to reblog this post
• i will start posting the poems June 11th under the tag ‘bd poetry’ so you can blacklist the tag if you want to avoid them
• i will tag the recipient of each poem on the poem itself so no one will miss their poem
• if you want an example of my poems i have like three on tumblr here but i swear i’ve written more and they’re all at least kind of alright ??
